Tucked away from the pulse of the world and the intensity of Phoenix’s desert heat, RituStudio is more than a workspace. It is a sanctuary: a self-contained, light-filled room where ideas take shape, colours move freely, and the boundary between thought and form begins to dissolve.

This is where I paint. This is where abstraction unfolds.

RituStudio is made for creation, not perfection. A room that welcomes the unfinished, the raw, the spontaneous. The paint on the floor is part of the memory of the room. Every layer, every gesture, every corner holds the spirit of experiment.

Inside the studio

Light-filled

Daylight moves through the room over the day, so a painting is seen the way it will be lived with: in changing light, not under a spotlight.

Gallery viewing

A private viewing room where collectors can sit with finished works in an intimate, gallery-like setting. The front room changes as new paintings rotate through.

Large-scale work

Space for paintings up to 9 × 9 ft, painted on the floor in the tradition of action painting.

The making of a contemporary abstract painting

Step inside the studio as a new painting arrives through the twine. The film holds not only the method but the meditation behind it: art as presence, as becoming.

Visitors

What people feel in the studio

From collectors and visitors, as written on Google.

“Definitely advise a whirl through Ritu’s studio and portfolio. From stark blacks and whites to vibrant pastel pop, Ritu creates energizing contemporary abstract pieces that catch the eye. Ritu Studio provides a private and unique setting to experience his art firsthand. Ritu rotates pieces through the front showroom showcasing the styles and mediums he explores, and happily opens up his workspace to view pieces in process and his broader portfolio of work.”
“My wife and I were immediately drawn to Ritu’s work. Ritu was kind enough to have us check out his studio. He walked us through his work, and guided us to some pieces. Incredible professionalism with getting the pieces to our house, and provided help with shadow boxing a few we are putting up now. 10/10 experience. Would highly recommend an in person trip if he’s available.”
“Stunning… spectacular and inviting. Ritu’s art and studio are each a masterpiece in their own right. Ritu’s creative space is its own work of art… photography studio, painting studio and gallery all in one. The best part is when you visit you get to meet Tiny the Bullmastiff… Who could ever refuse that!”
“Every time I step into Ritu’s gallery I am in awe of his work and space. There is an emotional pull to the work he creates which is in contrast to the gallery space that is somehow both serene and edgy. Definitely check out his work and space when you get a chance.”
