rituart.com
This policy explains what rituart.com collects when you visit, write to the studio or join the letter, and what happens to it. The site is run by RituStudio, the studio of the painter Ritu Raj in Phoenix, Arizona. By using the site you agree to the practices described here.
We collect personal information only when you choose to give it. That happens when you send an enquiry about a painting, ask about a commission, plan a studio visit, write through the Connect page or email the studio directly. Those messages carry your name, your email address, anything you write, and the painting or page you wrote from.
We use them to answer you and to carry on the conversation you started: availability, a visit, a commission, a sale. The site does not take payments, and we never ask for card details on it.
If you choose to receive Ritu's letter, your email address is kept with Kit (kit.com), the service that sends it. Every letter has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to remove you at any time.
Like most websites, the site records some information automatically: your IP address, browser and device, the pages you visit, when, and the site that sent you. It is used to keep the site working, to protect it, and to understand in general terms how people use it.
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which keeps short-lived logs of requests. To understand how the site is used we also use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity (which shows how pages are scrolled and clicked, and masks what you type into forms), Ahrefs Web Analytics, and the advertising measurement tags of Google Ads, Meta (the Meta Pixel) and Reddit, which tell us whether an advertisement led someone to the site. These services set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them.
Painting images are served from img.rituart.com, which is also hosted by Cloudflare.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We share it only with the services named above, so they can do their part, and when the law requires it or it is needed to protect the rights, property or safety of the studio, its visitors or the public.
The whole site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We take reasonable care with what you send us, but no transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to the address below and we will do so, unless we need to keep something to complete a sale or commission you asked for, to meet a legal obligation, or to protect against fraud or misuse.
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you are under 13, please ask a parent or guardian before writing to us.
We may update this policy when the site, the services it uses or the law change. The date below shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will say so on the site.
