What needs permission

Reproducing, printing, altering or selling these images, using them in advertising or on products, or using them to train software, all require written permission.

Buying a painting

Owning an original gives you the painting, not the copyright. The image rights stay with the artist, as is standard practice. Collectors are always welcome to photograph and share work they own.

ArtGrams and EncounterGraphs

The ArtGram and EncounterGraph made for each painting are meant to travel. Each one is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0): you may share and adapt it, for any purpose, as long as you credit it to ArtGraph by Ritu Raj and link to artgraph.co.

The licence covers those finished marks, not the painting they describe, and not the ArtGraph system, its vocabulary or the software that draws the marks, which remain the property of Ritu Raj.
