Silent Algorithm in Magenta
Available · in the studio, Phoenix
Magenta computing in silence — the algorithm that doesn't announce itself, the deep violet-pink that arrives and stays.
In Silent Algorithm in Magenta, geometric stillness meets organic motion. A precise vertical field divides a flood of gestural magenta energy — a conversation between control and surrender, between intellect and intuition. The deep pinks and blacks pulse like code rendered emotional, where data becomes rhythm and structure becomes breath.
The painting embodies a quiet paradox central to my work: that logic and feeling are not opposites, but reflections of one another. The “algorithm” here is not a system of control, but a structure of coherence — a silent architecture beneath every expressive act. The magenta, meanwhile, carries its own emotional voltage: vibrant, human, uncontainable.
This piece continues my exploration of integrity as abstraction — the idea that wholeness doesn’t depend on perfection, but on alignment. A painting, like a life, holds integrity when nothing feels missing. In that sense, Silent Algorithm in Magenta is both rule and revelation — a visual statement of completeness within contradiction.

The space it needs
- Wall
- At least 5 ft wide
- Ceiling
- 8 ft or more
- Light
- Warm ambient light enhances organic palette — thread catches light beautifully
- Daylight
- Magenta and oxblood warm noticeably under late western sun, while the darkened void holds its depth. Strong enough in contrast to stand near glass; an east or north wall keeps the magenta at the pitch it was painted.
Lives best in
Bedroom 5/5
A 5, and the most honest placement in this collection: the soft lilac passages and pale gray margins cool the oxblood just enough, the mood sits at a restrained 3, and the theme of logic and feeling as reflections of each other gives a resting mind exactly the right kind of company.
Living room 4/5
Silent Algorithm in Magenta earns a 4 in the living room because its four-foot square of layered magenta and oxblood creates a focal anchor without overpowering conversation, and the embedded thread catches warm ambient light in a way that rewards sustained, unhurried looking.
